STUDYING AT LEEDS TRINITY
STUDYING AT LEEDS TRINITY
We’re renowned for our supportive learning environment, delivering employability-focused and research-informed teaching and providing access to the technology and facilities you need to support your development.
We believe the secret to great learning and teaching is simple: it’s about creating an inclusive learning experience that allows all students to thrive.
Learning and teaching
When you arrive at university, you’ll probably notice a big difference in the way you learn compared to school or college. In-person teaching, via lectures, smaller group sessions and tutorials, is at the heart of your academic learning and is supported and enhanced by additional activities and opportunities provided online and through digital teaching materials. This blended approach seeks to ensure that you have a positive learning and teaching student experience.
Personal support
Throughout your studies, we’ll work with you to make sure you develop the academic skills you need to succeed, giving you personal support with all aspects of learning. You’ll also have regular opportunities to talk to your tutor one-to-one.
Expert lecturers
You’ll be taught by highly qualified and experienced staff, many of whom have extensive professional experience outside of the University. Thanks to their industry connections, you’ll also get access to a programme of guest lectures from experts representing a wide range of industries.
STUDY ROUTES
Most of our undergraduate degree programmes are usually completed as full-time courses, over three years. Many of them can also be studied with an initial Foundation Year, taking four years to complete.
Undergraduate course types:
BA – Bachelor of Arts
BSc – Bachelor of Science
LLB – Bachelor of Laws
Following graduation from your undergraduate degree, you may choose to continue your academic studies with a postgraduate course at Leeds Trinity. We offer a variety of taught and research degrees as well as primary and secondary teacher training PGCE courses.
If you are already employed and looking to gain a higher education qualification while you work, we also offer Foundation degrees, Level 6 top-up degrees and degree apprenticeships. Details of these courses, which are specifically designed to fit alongside your work and other commitments and offer an alternative route to studying for a degree, can be found at leedstrinity.ac.uk.
